Bethany is an ordinary teen until after death, she is taken into Limbo, a void world ruled by a powerful evil force. But she's not the only human who's trapped.
At the cost of gaining magical powers, she and the others experience daily pain and nightmarish visions. Now it's up to Bethany and her friends to try and defeat the evil and free everyone.

But with everyone's major flaws being enhanced, not everyone is trustworthy...

Undead corporeal spirits (all the main characters) (spirits who used to be human but are trapped in Limbo in a city similar to ones on Earth. Humans with certain personalities and lives throughout history are taken to Limbo after they die for the benefits/entertainment of the evil organization. Their lives are normal save for the constant black sky and artificial sunlight. They can’t reproduce and they keep experiencing pain, death, and visions of loss every day at unpredictable times. This is due to an evil organization bent on controlling the population. (leader is fusion of Lucifer, Satan, Hordak, and God) Bethany has to free her people so they can either die in peace or be reincarnated on Earth. The only things that can kill them are A. Vextor’s lethal injections/contained diseases B. death of evil organization machine/magic and C. death via the same way they died as humans. The undead spirits can still eat and drink, though the tastes of food is only half as good as it was when they were alive. Like in Hazbin Hotel, the characters don’t age.

There is a 15% chance each that humans will go to Hell (the regular version or Hazbin), Heaven, the endless void (real death), Limbo, reincarnate on Earth, go to other mythical afterlives, or travel to another dimension.

Limbo is a dimension that lies hidden near Earth, parallel in the middle to Hell and Etheria. No one knows that it exists nor do those in Limbo meet with the other worlds.

Princess Bethany (She Ra and Charlie) bisexual blonde young teen, destined to become a powerful princess, reckless, cares for everyone, loves to sing. She can create rainbow magic streams, fire, fly, super strength, and wears gold armor in her enhanced form. She can also transform into a golden retriever. She died in ancient Greece.

Verena (Glimmer and Vaggie) short bisexual dark skinned hippie friend who can use magical weapons, is moody, a rebel and very protective. In her enhanced form, she swears. She died in the 1970s, though her ancestors were from Egypt. (appears as a 25 year old)

Terach (Alastor and Shadow Weaver) Antihero/villain, asexual. Tall man with pale skin, long black hair, wears a black mask with a grin on it. Two twins Nox (male) and Nuit (female) are his bodyguards and servants. He has shadow magic, tentacles and teleportation. He only kills in self-defense or when people harm his friend Bethany. He wears a suit of dark purple. In his enhanced form, he has red glowing eyes, sharp white teeth, grows dark furry pointed ears, stands on goat legs and grows a black scorpion tail he can use to paralyze enemies.  Too much dark magic will make him go mad and eat any “living” thing in Limbo, including humans. He has Alastor’s powers and personality minus the deal making, radio control, deer traits, and shadow spirits. He died during the 1900s. (Not in New Orleans like Alastor and Dr. Facilier) (Appears as a 30 year old)

Chad (Angel Dust and Bow) tall red haired guy who is asexual (but is romantically attracted to guys) and loves technology. He is the weapon’s expert when weapons aren’t magical. In his enhanced form, he turns into a transformer-like warrior. He died in the 1950s. (Appears as a 28 year old)

Hydrus (Husk and Mermista) A lazy non-binary individual with dark hair and a male body that likes to drink and complain. Can breathe in any environment, even space. They have power over all liquids and are pansexual. Died in early America.

Filia (Perfuma and Niffty) hyperactive lady who loves gardening and theater. She died in Victorian times. She has the power to create plants, valuable in the lifeless void.

(appears younger than he really is, 21)

Anamia Filia’s shyer older sister who can conjure animals and livestock, though she has to fast and experience more bad visions the more she uses her power.

Vextor (Baxter and Frosta) cold, analytical loner, he is the inventor of the cure vaccine that can dispel the dark visions that people see. He also has made a lethal injection, capable of freeing people from the curse of being trapped in limbo. He has gone into hiding due to the evil organization. He can cure any burns and flame related injuries. Died in 1990s.

Annabella (Rosie, Katie, and Castaspella) fashionista who doesn’t care for Bethany and her friends. She has light magic and can conjure clothing. Died in 1930s.

Xeno (Lucifer and King Mica) a goofy king who is strict but cares for his people. He and many of the population elected Bethany to be the next heir. Nox helped Bethany with her plans but also wants to rule Limbo for himself. He wants to see others to suffer from the visions of their former lives. (He had been abused by his parents as a human).

Xena (Lilith and Angella) an elegant kind hearted queen who is busy working for the evil organization not by choice.
