Ash: Dark gray male dragon made of ash and magma, born from a volcano. He can appear in a liquid or solid form. He destroys the land simply because it is in his nature to do so. Power: Elemental.
Reek: A dark brown dragon who has the ability to instantly make people sick when he bites them. In order to heal, both humans and Saiyans need a greater number of senzu beans. Will the heroes have enough to fight on? Power: Biological.
Aqua: A light blue fat dragon with the power to control water. He can make his victims unable to use their powers when they are soaking wet, due to the risk of shocking themselves. Fortunately, the heroes can still use their strength and skill in hand-to hand combat. Power: Elemental.
Helian: A bright golden winged dragon with the power of sunlight. He may seem like a good dragon, but he uses his power to his advantage to blind his opponents. He is self-centered and over-confident in his abilities, which is his greatest flaw. He is considered the weakest out of all the dragons. Power: Elemental/energy.
Olen: The eldest of the OC shadow dragons and perhaps the most powerful. Don’t be fooled by his wrinkly dark skin, and feeble appearance. He has the ability to learn and imitate the moves of his opponents due to what he refers to as “his eternal wisdom beyond mortal comprehension.” He and Heilan do not get along due to a 1000 year generation gap and different views about life. Power: Mental.
Revenge and Reckon: Dark green male dragon with two heads. He has a hydra-like appearance, with each dragon having a black horn protruding from their heads. One is bent on getting back at the humans for making careless selfish wishes. He states that if he had his wish, he would take over the world, preferably separate from his companion, who is more critical and judgmental of mortals. Power: Strength.

“Oh mighty Serhaan, come forth and grant our wish!”
Broccolia’s chants met empty air.
“Serhaan, Serhaan, where are you?” Broccolia crossed
her arms in frustration.
Under a blue sky, the
group of OCs stood together in a circle, staring at the seven golden Dragon
Balls huddled together. MajinBlue, the half demon half Saiyan stood with his
two children, Saphir and Jinsen. Saphir had blue hair like her father, while
Jinsen’s hair was black like his mother’s. Edoes stood beside his red haired
Tuffle father, Enoki Halusa, his dark blue spiky hair swaying slightly in the
wind. Sumera, the Saiyan had joined as well, bringing his oldest daughter,
Angelica with him. Angelica’s daughter, Malin, stayed with Sumera’s human wife,
Airam. Angelica’s hair was black like her fathers, plus she also had a Saiyan
tail like he did, though her hair wasn’t spiky and her eyes were brown instead
of black.
Broccolia, the ever
impatient, impulsive Saiyan, scratched her spiky dark purple hair and paced
from side to side.
“What in Prior’s name is
taking so long?! Come forth, already!”
“Patience, Broccolia,”
mentioned Sumera.
Off to the side, two
Saiyans, one with brown hair and one with long red hair stood side by side.
Their names were Retro Ranter and Orack. Ten earth protectors of the Meloverse
universe in all. (Unless one counted Saiyan Enigma who hadn’t been seen in
years but was still out there).
Edoes stared at the orbs
in confusion. “I don’t know what the problem is. Perhaps we need to wait a year
for them to activate again.”
“They are not stone,
though,” Enoki mentioned. “Plus, we have gathered all seven like we are supposed
to.”
“Maybe Serhaan’s
underneath the earth asleep and wants to sleep in?” Angelica suggested.
“The dragon always comes
when summoned,” Broccolia countered. “My Namekain mentor mother, Lyra told me
everything.”
“So, you’re not impatient
anymore?” Sumera asked.
Broccolia sighed in
response. Earlier on, she would have killed and conquered Earth when she was
little, but, like the others, the earth and humanity calmed her primal nature.
Broccolia was about to
answer when Sumera looked and saw Retro Ranter and Orack sparring in the air.
Sumera’s tail swished
back and forth in frustration as he turned his head to them. “Guys, this is not
the time to be training right how! We have a summoning situation we gotta fix!”
“But we’re bored,”
replied Orack.
“Let’s go,” said Retro
Ranter. “We can wait a few more minutes.”
The two men landed on the
ground and headed over to the rest of the group.
“Let’s try again,” said
MajinBlue. He cleared his throat and raised his arms. “Serhaan, come forth and
grant our wish, pretty peas!”
Still nothing happened.
Edoes suddenly gasped. “The
Dragon Balls are cracked!”
“What?” asked Broccolia.
“I didn’t notice that
before since the cracks blended in with the surface. I bet that has to do with
the orbs not working.”
Edoes pointed to the
jarring yellow lines with black cracks in the middle on each of the spheres.
The humming sound that
came from them wasn’t the clear celestial sound they were used to. In fact, it
sounded glitch and reversed.
Sumera shook his head. “I
have a bad feeling about this. I think we should leave.”
MajinBlue nodded. “I
sense evil energy here. I sensed it ever since we gathered the Dragon Balls but
I wasn’t sure until now.”
“But we have to wish back
Lyra and the human population killed by Enoki’s mushroom parasite!” Broccolia
protested.
“It’s not my fault my
experiment got out of control,” said Enoki.
Edoes stomped his foot. “Dad,
that’s because you are still obsessed with getting vengeance on the Saiyans!
Like it or not, the two of us are the only Tuffles left. What the Saiyans did
to your people, sadly, it’s all in the past. Besides, you enjoy hanging out
with your new Saiyan friends.”
“No I don’t,” Enoki said
quickly, crossing his arms. “They are merely allies I associate with to protect
Earth and my family.”
“We both know that’s not
true,” Edoes argued. “Without us, your creation would have enslaved the world,
including you!”
Enoki thought back on the
parasite’s betrayal, how he was briefly corrupted and made a host in the final
battle.
“I..I didn’t want to go
so far as to enslaving everyone…I just wanted to spread what was left of my
culture…”
Edoes put his hand on his
father’s shoulder. “Maybe spreading both Tuffle and Saiyan culture is what’s
best for this world, along with learning more from the humans. I am part human
after all.”
“My wife…my creation, he…he…”
Tears fell from his face
and he lowered his head.
“We will wish Mom back
soon,” Edoes reassured. “It’s not your fault.”
“Hey!” Orack called. “Hate
to break up the tender moments but take a look at this!”
The group stepped back as
dark smoke emerged from the Dragon Balls through the cracks. The smoke rose
higher and higher into the air. Dark clouds crept in from the sides, soon
blocking out the sun. The sky turned from cyan blue to crimson red as red
lightning crashed.
The smoke condensed
together not too far above them until it formed a figure. Black scales replaced
the smoky tendrils and demonic red eyes appeared from the darkness. A black
dragon with a dark blue underbelly soon emerged in full view. His face and back
were decorated with sharp black spikes that ran along his long spine and from
his head. Using his claws, he clicked open a lighter and pulled a brown cigar
from a group of prominent scales from his chest. He put it in his mouth and
inhaled several times.
Enoki cringed as memories
of his bad smoking habit came rushing back.
Without warning, the
dragon took the cigar out of his mouth and blew the smoke to the ground. The
group coughed and gagged as the cigar fumes surrounded them.
“That’s…really rude,”
gasped Saphir.
“Yeah,…what’s wrong with
this *cough* guy?”
“That’s not Serhaan!” cried
Broccolia.
“Ya think?” asked
MajinBlue.
“Hey!” called Angelica. “What’s
the big idea? Have you come to grant our wishes or not?”
The smoke dragon revealed
a red mouth full of sharp white fangs and laughed a low laugh. He spoke a low
distorted remark, “Wishes? I have no intention of fulfilling any wishes.”
“Yeah, I don’t trust this strange foul dragon,” said Retro Ranter.”
“But he is an Eternal
Dragon,” warned Enoki. Then his yellow eyes grew wide. “And…it looks like he
wants to eat us.” He gulped.
As in confirmation, the
dragon grinned. “You mortals look so delicious. That green dragon has been
active for too long. My power was held back, but now, in this negative ki, I’m
finally free! Time for this world to be born anew!” He clenched his clawed
fists as he spoke.
“Real Eternal Dragons,
especially Serhaan, don’t behave like that!” Jinsen called out. “Just ask us
what we want to wish for!”
The dragon scoffed and
said a string of curse words.
“What have you done with
Serhaan?” yelled Edoes, getting into a defensive stance.
The dragon didn’t
respond. Instead, the Dragon Balls glowed a bright yellow and rose up into the
air.
“He’s taking the Dragon
Balls!” yelled Broccolia. She fired a ki blast at the dragon, but it had no
effect. The glowing orbs spun faster and faster around the dragon’s head. Then
with a deep breath, the dragon opened his mouth. All seven Dragon balls flew
one by one into his mouth as he sucked them in. The dragon’s throat muscles
clenched and moved the remainder of them to his stomach. The group stared in
shock.
The Dragon’s eyes glowed
after a moment and a wild whirlwind appeared in front of the group. Screams
were heard as the Saiyans and humans covered their eyes from the dust and air
blowing in their faces. The glowing orbs shot out from the Dragon’s mouth, but
this time, smoke figures of dragons appeared from the wind, their mouths
gripping the light circles. The six smaller smoke dragons roared and flew in
six separate directions surrounded by yellow light. The smoke dragon let out a
low evil laugh and flew off into the sky before disappearing. The sky turned
blue once more and the air stilled as if nothing had happened.
“What…just happened?”
asked Edoes.
“We were robbed, that’s
what happened!” scoffed Broccolia.
The group shuffled in
confusion.
“What do we do now?”
asked Angelica. “There are too many dark dragons that are now released!”
“We fight them, of
course!” replied Orack. “Let’s hunt those dragons down. Follow me.”
“Wait,” said Retro
Ranter. “There are ten of us, right?” asked Retro Ranter. “And six dragons?
Shouldn’t we split up in groups of two to search for them?”
Shouldn’t we split up in groups of two to search for them?”
“Sounds like a good plan,”
said Sumera. “Though we have no idea how powerful the dragons really are.”
“Not to mention, we also
have to defeat the seventh dragon,” added MajinBlue.
“Only six dragons shot
out from the bigger dragon,” mentioned Retro Ranter.
“Seven Dragons? Seven Dragon
Balls? The Seven Deadly Sins?”
“Alright, Blue, we get
it!” sighed Orack.
“Don’t call me that! How
many times do I have to tell you guys? It’s MajinBlue.”
“Quit arguing and let’s
move out,” ordered Enoki Halusa.
Broccolia stepped forward
to face the group. “I’m the leader here, Tuffle. You haven’t even decided who’s
going to be in which group.”
“That is simple…”
“Because I’m doing it
instead,” she interrupted.
“No, I’m older than any
of you, so I decide. MajinBlue, and Edoes, you come with me. Orack and Retro,
you look after the three kids…”
“We’re not kids!” Saphir
protested.
“My bad, guys. Broccolia,
you stay on the side and cover for us…”
Broccolia shoved the
Tuffle to the side, knocking him to the ground. “I don’t think so. Get into
your groups or I’ll fight the dragons myself.”
“Are you stupid?” scowled
MajinBlue.
“Are you done?” she
asked. “Because if you are, you can join Orack in the fight in group 1.”
Orack looked from side to
side. “I thought I was going with Retro.”
“Retro Ranter and Sumera
are going together,” Broccolia explained, “for group 2. Group 3 will be
Angelica and Saphir. Group 4, Jinsen and Edoes.”
Enoki licked his lips and
smiled. “I guess it’s you and me for group 5.”
“No! I’m in my own group and
so are you,” she said, crossing her arms. She turned to the group. “Make sure
that the citizens are safe and away from the battle, as well. Sumera, guard
that bag of senzu beans with your life.”
“Right,” the Saiyan
replied, moving his fingers over his jacket pocket.
“Let’s do this!”
The individuals spread
out and flew over the city. The search had begun.
“Smells
Like Trouble! Reek, the Three Star Dragon”
The sun shone brightly
against the glass of the buildings. The city looked more ruined and devastated
the further north the Saiyan’s got.
“We must be getting closer,
I can sense the dragon’s ki,” said Sumera.
Retro held his nose.
“Ugh. I can smell it too.”
The Saiyans hovered over
an old ghetto section of the city.
“Look,” said Sumera,
pointing straight ahead.
A bunch of coughing and
wheezing citizens stood in a long line, waiting to see a doctor. The way to a
nearby pharmacy also had hordes of humans waiting in line. The younger ones and
the elderly were in their homes in bed.
Retro Ranter landed
beside a blonde haired man wearing a blue suit in line. “Sir, what’s going on?”
“My wife had just gotten
home from the store with a bag of groceries and snacks for our kids. We had a
large meal last night and…”
His body shivered,
despite it being sunny outside. “…we all suddenly felt sick. There must have
been something in the food we ate, but this has never happened before.”
A brown curly-haired
woman walked over and added her thoughts. “It’s not just their family or this
neighborhood. As you can see from the large line, this strange sickness is
spreading fast all over the city.”
“Sadly,” said the blonde
man, “The doctors and pharmacists can only do so much for so many people. Of
course, those who have the money can get treatment over those who don’t, but
even then, who’s to say that it won’t come back?”
Sumera spotted a brick
building in the distance, the glass double door blocked with yellow crossed
tape.
“That’s the local grocery
store,” he said. “Why is it suddenly closed?”
“Let’s find out,” said
Retro as the two men flew off.
Ignoring the yellow
caution tape, they maneuvered their way into the store. Inside were people in
hazmat suits using various devices to examine the food…or what seemed to be
left of it. Fruit, vegetables, meat, and peels littered the dark brown floor in
nearly all the sections. Boxes and crates had casually been knocked off
shelves.
“What the hell happened
here?” asked a shocked Retro Ranter.
Upon closer inspection,
each of the remaining edibles had brown and green stains on them…as well as
bite marks too big for humans to make.
From outside, a distant
rumbling and a roar could be heard.
“I think that’s your
answer,” said Sumera.
“Hey you guys can’t be in
here,” said one of the men.
“We’re just trying to
help…” began Sumera.
“The air is toxic around
here. How are you still alive?”
“We are actually robots,”
added Retro Ranter in a monotone voice.
The dark skinned man
underneath squinted with suspicion.
Retro Ranter eyed a trail
of green ooze that led out toward the exit. The two men followed the trail out
the large hole in the wall. They stopped at a large black open sewer pipe that
jutted from a concrete wall. The crumpled up wrappers, soda cans, and leftover
scraps of meat indicated a nearby presence.
Here the smell was
overpowering and the two men tried not to gag at the scent.
“I think we found the
dragon!” said Sumera, a bit too loudly.
His response was answered
by a growl and a burp from inside the pipe. The creature that slithered out of
the pipe was so hideous, that the Saiyans briefly thought of fleeing right then
and there.
The dragon’s formerly
white scales were caked dark brown in dirt, poop, mud, and other nasty
materials. One of the dragon’s large eyes was swollen shut. Flies buzzed around
the beast’s head and maggots crawled in between the spaces of the dragon’s
rotten yellow teeth.
“I’m gonna throw up,”
moaned Retro holding his hand over his mouth.
“You’re the source behind
the sickness,” claimed Sumera.
“Indeed, I am,” replied
the dragon in a nasally voice. Though he had clawed hands, his bottom half
consisted of tentacles that touched the ground. “I am Reek, the Three Star
Shadow Dragon. A blue dark Dragon Ball was positioned in the center of his
forehead. “I raided the supermarket and ate most of the human’s food. Quite
delicious, I must say! I can cause disease and decay to anything I come into
contact with!”
“We’ll we’re Saiyans, and
not as easily vulnerable as humans,” deduced Sumera, answering the question as
to why they hadn’t gotten sick.
“We’ll just see about
that, won’t we?” Reek sneered.
“We won’t let you make
humanity sick!” argued Retro Ranter. They both powered up into Super Saiyan.
“All the better, isn’t it
though?” asked the Dragon. “With humanity gone, no one can make any more wasted
wishes on the Dragon Balls. It was your wishing that gave birth to me and my
comrades. And it will be your undoing.”
“What are you talking
abou…argh!” Retro Ranter gasped as the dragon’s fist made contact with his gut.
The impact resulted in the Saiyan flying backwards and crashing into the nearby
body of water.
“Retro!” called Sumera
before barely dodging the flurry of Reek’s fast fists. Sumera blocked the
attacks with his arms in front of him. He jumped into the air and, despite not
having wings, the filthy dragon followed him.
“You don’t even look like
a dragon,” Sumera taunted. “You’re more like an octopus bear hybrid whose
mother abandoned because he was so ugly.”
The unfazed dragon
grinned. “Curious about my tentacles? Here’s what they can do!” The dragon rose
up and shot out several green rubbery limbs at the Saiyan. Sumera yelled and
karate chopped off several at once. He powered up a yellow ki blast when he saw
the dragon slightly off balance. Then, to the surprise of his eyes, the
tentacles grew back to how they were before.
“That’s impossible…” he
began before several of them began to wrap tightly around his neck. The man
gasped and struggled to free himself.
“Heh heh heh,” snickered
Reek. “At this point, you’ll just tire yourself out. Even Saiyans have their
limits.”
A large slap to the
dragon’s large head sent him tumbling to the ground. He landed on the concrete
ground with a thud but quickly recovered.
Sumera gasped in relief
when he saw Retro Ranter hovering nearby.
Retro started firing
energy discs at the dragon, cutting off several tentacles.
“It’s no use,” stated
Sumera. “The dragon can just grow them back each time.”
“You fools messed with
the wrong dragon!” Reek called, before passing gas and rising up in the air.
“I’ll say we did,”
mentioned Retro. “The sooner we get away from your stink and attitude, the
better.”
“I’ll take that as a
compliment!” Reek exclaimed, before charging at the warriors once more.
For several minutes, they
fought in the air at speedy intervals, teleporting from spot to spot. Several
times, Retro got tangled up in the tentacles, before powering up and freeing
himself. With a whip of his two front claws, Reek slapped Sumera and Retro to
the side, though the Saiyans quickly recovered. Reek laughed and flew off
toward the city.
“Get back here you filthy
coward!” called Sumera, as he chased after him, Retro following close behind.
Reek stopped and hovered over a busy street filled with people shopping and
doing their daily activities. Reek let out a huge blech as green vapor exited
his gaping mouth. All the earthlings down below stared up at the dragon in
horror before violently coughing and gagging. Warts and infections began to
spread across their skin. A group of sickly individuals rushed to a nearby
garbage can to vomit. Even the dogs in the park were moaning and lying down in
fatigue.
Reek laughed manically,
seeing the horrified disgusted looks on the Saiyan’s faces. “Soon, this will be
your entire world! Humans and animals dying right and left from my viruses, my
diseases, my plague producing powers!”
“Those people are
innocent!” argued Retro. “There’s no reason to kill them off like that.”
“First of all, it was
what I was made to do. It is also quite fun. Plus with everyone gone, the
Dragon Balls will never be misused again.”
“What?” asked Sumera.
“Do you fools know how I
came into existence in the first place? Of course you don’t, but I’ll tell you.
Remember long ago how you and your friends made the wish to make Senzu beans
appear after that Glacin ice lizard attacked your planet? Apparently, either
you, or that blue haired Saiyan was dying and there were no Senzu beans left.
It was only due to being healed and fusing were you able to temporarily defeat
the villain and make him flee. Little did you know that wish sent out negative
energy as a consequence…energy that led to my very existence.”
“How ironic that you were
born from a wish to heal others,” Retro remarked.
“Indeed. Speaking of
which, you seem to have those beans on you yourself. I hope you don’t mind me
destroying them!”
Retro dodged out of the
way as Reek clawed at the air where he had been just moments before.
“Retro, get out of here!”
called Sumera. “We can’t let that monster take our only means of healing!”
Retro punched the dragon
to no effect. “Shouldn’t we have split up the beans between all of us instead?”
Retro blocked the dragon’s fist with his hand and sent energy from his palm.
The dragon let go in pain and briefly shook his claw as electricity sparked
around it. Then, he was back to normal and kicked the Saiyan in the groin in
retaliation.
“You were one of the most
trustworthy people in the group,” Sumera responded. “Halusa would have used it
for selfish purposes and Broccolia would have lost it.”
“Really?” Retro groaned
in pain, not able to say anything else.
Reek ripped Retro’s
jacket with his claws, causing the bag of green beans to fall to the ground.
“Looks like you spilled
the beans there!” cackled Reek. He lifted his fist to crush the beans, but
Sumera flew in and grabbed hold of his scaly slimy arm, hard. As he pushed the
limb to an angle, he heard a sickening crack and a roar of pain.
“Meddlesome mortal! You
dislocated my arm!”
Reek grunted and popped
his arm back into place.
“That’s gonna give me
nightmares,” muttered Sumera.
“Take this!” roared Reek.
The dragon blocked
Retro’s next ki blast and shot it back at him, point blank. The Saiyan screamed
and crashed backward into a wall. Just as he stood up, Reek teleported in front
of him and burped right in his face. Retro gagged and shut his eyes.
“That’s enough, you!”
shouted Sumera, landing an upper hand punch that knocked the creature skyward.
Sumera went by Retro’s
side and gasped. His comrade’s face was already pale and he was currently
coughing up blood.
“No, no no,” Sumera
stuttered in concern.
Retro mentioned for
Sumera to come closer. As he did, he lifted his shaky hand. A warm burst of
energy flowed through him, tingling throughout his body. Previous fatigue and
pain he had felt, vanished.
“Defeat that bastard
without me…”
“Don’t die on me. Here,
I’ll go pick up the first bean I find…”
“No…defeat, the enemy
first. I’ll be fine.” Retro smiled and his eyes closed, body shivering.
Sumera turned toward the
dragon, who was busy infecting more parts of the city. “Alright, dragon! You
want to fight? Well come at me if you can!”
Reek turned around and
roared in response. The Saiyan rushed at the dragon, dodging more punches and
tentacle grabbing at him. Leading Reek away from his friend, Sumera flew just
above the body of water, the dragon close on his tail, literally. Just before his
brown tail was caught, Sumera dived into the water, avoiding green energy
blasts from the dragon overhead.
Sumera popped up his head
and gulped up fresh air. Reek sent a volley of more energy spheres, while the
Saiyan dove back under. Sumera jumped into the air, flying over the dragon in
an arc, before diving back in. He was careful not to get too close to the
filthy creature. He swam along and wondered why the dragon wasn’t following
him. Then he had a random idea.
“You will be a tasty
meal, Saiyan,” called Reek. “You can’t hide forever!”
“Over here!” he called.
Reek spotted him and rushed forward. Using his strength, Sumera sent a big
splash of water at the dragon’s face.
“Ack! Water! Gross!”
‘Of
course,’ he thought. ‘So
that’s why the dragon won’t get in the water.’
“You’re long overdue for
a bath!” called the Saiyan as he powered up and sent streams of water at Reek.
Reek frantically dodged each one and shook the water off him whenever he got
wet.
The two warriors met at a
standstill. Reek crossed his arms. “I’ll get you next time,” he muttered and
started to fly off.
“You’re not going
anywhere!”
Sumera rushed toward the
dragon and grabbed hold of several of his tentacles. Instead of ripping them
off, he expertly looped them haphazardly around each other.
“What the…” asked Reek,
sending blasts of energy that Sumera dodged. He wrapped the dragon’s own
tentacles around him as if he were tying a giant slimy shoelaces together. The
dragon struggled to get free, even cutting off his own limbs in an attempt to
escape. Before he could get fully free, Sumera landed a punch to the dragon in
the air, using both hands together in a fist. The dragon plummeted into the
water with a splash.
The Saiyan knew that the
dragon hated getting wet for obvious reasons. But the cold water would only
slow him down. This became evident when the dragon freed himself and swam up to
the surface. Sumera needed to weaken the dragon further in order to finish him
off.
In the back of his mind,
he knew that cold water doesn’t do much against dirt and germs. The question
was: how was he going to heat up the water? There were no water heaters or bars
of soap anywhere around him.
Reek rose up and grabbed
hold of Sumera with his tentacles. He pulled him under the water and tightly
held him down.
“If I go, then you go
with me!” he exclaimed. The Saiyan struggled as air bubbles flew upward from
his mouth. His first instinct was to struggle for breath like a human would.
Then he remembered that he had Saiyan powers. He powered up under the water and
pushed back the dragon, freeing himself. He swam up to the surface, thankful to
see the blue sky clear in his sights.
‘Of
course! I am my own heat source!’
As Reek rose up from the
water and let out a toxic burp, Sumera positioned himself halfway in the water,
obscuring his legs and waist from view. With a loud yell, he powered up to
Super Saiyan 4, a form which he was too tired to obtain before receiving
Retro’s extra boost. His hair turned spiky purple and red fur grew over his
shoulders. He also had a red tail to go with the look. A yellow-white aura
spread from his body, which then turned a deep red. Sumera’s energy spread
throughout the lake, causing steam to rise from the water. Reek roared in pain
as the grime burned off his scales. He fired another burp in the Saiyan’s
direction, which had no effect.
“You’re supposed to be
sick!” he cried.
“I’m as healthy as a
horse,” Sumera said. “Looks like your ultimate attack won’t work anymore.”
“Horrible monkey! You’ll
get so sick, you’ll be sick of living!”
“Who’s the “sick one
now?” mocked Sumera. “You look much weaker and better when you’re clean!”
“CURSE YOU!”
Seizing hid chance,
Sumera powered up an energy blast in his hands, using up the last of Retro’s
energy.
“SUMERA STRIKE SPEAR!”
A flash of yellow
lightning hit Reek in the chest and spread throughout his body. Reek screamed
one last time, his swollen eyes wide before being disintegrated by the attack.
The dark blue dragon ball fell from the air and landed with a plop in the
water, before turning back to its original golden color. Sumera retrieved it
and soon remembered his friend. He flew at high speed back to where his
unconscious ally lay against the wall. He picked up a Senzu bean from the
ground (5 second rule need not apply) and put it inside Retro’s mouth. He
weakly swallowed it. After a moment, his pale skin regained color and he opened
his eyes.
“What…what’s going on?”
he shook his head rapidly.
“I defeated him,” said
Sumera with a smile.
Retro sat up and looked
at him. “Yes, I knew you had it in you.”
“It was all thanks to
your energy you gave me,” he replied. “I gave him the hottest bath he didn’t
forget.”
Retro laughed shakily while
Sumera helped him stand up. “Grab the rest of the beans and let’s go help the others.”
Sumera grabbed the rest
from the ground and stuffed them in his pocket. The two Saiyans flew off above
the city.
“The Earthlings are still
sick,” stated Retro. “I should go help them.”
“Are you sure you’re up
for it? I don’t want you getting sick again.”
“I’m a Saiyan. I don’t
get ill as easily as humans. Besides, that Senzu bean gave me plenty of energy.
I’ll help heal them while you go help the others.”
“Very well. Good luck my
friend.”
Retro flew down to the
ground while Sumera continued on his way, flying around the tall skyscrapers.
Sumera hoped that Angelica and the others were faring alright in their fights.
“Blinding
Light: Helian, the Five Star Dragon”
Angelica and Saphir
covered their ears as obnoxious singing was heard around the corner.
The sun seemed
unnaturally brighter here, causing the two warriors to squint their eyes.
“I knew I should have
brought sunglasses with me,” muttered Saphir.
“And earplugs,” added
Angelica, covering her ears and wincing at the loud off-key notes from close
by.
“My
teeth and eyes shine so bright
I
radiate charm, magnificence and light
Any
mortals want to pick a fight
Bow
to the mighty Helian or say good night!”
Angelica and Saphir
peeked around the corner and saw a bizarre occurrence. A dragon with glimmering
scales of white and gold, was busy admiring himself in a round jewel-encrusted
mirror that magically hovered in front of him.
“Seriously, what a show
off,” said a voice nearby.
Sapir and Angelica turned
to see another Saiyan next to them. She had spiky hair and was currently in
Super Saiyan 4 form.
“I’m Carotta,” she said,
extending her hand.
“Saphir,” said the
blue-haired Saiyan. “This is my friend, Angelica.”
“Sumera’s daughter,
right?”
“Yes,” Angelica replied.
“How do you know?”
Sumera and I are close
allies,” she explained. “I’ve been living on my own for a while and trying to
figure out what to do next.”
Saphir and Angelica
exchanged confused looks.
“In any case, I’ll help
you fight this dragon,” Carotta said.
“Thanks,” said Saphir.
The dragon hummed once
more. Helian turned his giant body around, scales flashing blindly.
“Who do we have here?
Mortals struck by paralyzing fear!” the dragon declared in rhyme.
“You’re going down,
clown!” Saphir responded.
“Take this, Miss!” said
the dragon, firing a solar flare into the air. The blue-haired Saiyan hybrid
was briefly blinded, allowing Helian to knock her back with a hard punch. She
flew backward but flipped backward, landing safely on the ground. “You’ll pay
for that, you beast!”
“Me? A beast! Not in the
very least!” roared Helian, smoke curling from his nostrils.
Angelica landed a series
of kicks onto the dragon’s head. Carrotta fired ki blasts against the dragon’s
back.
“Ow! My beautiful scales!
This is the last straw.”
“At least he’s not
rhyming anymore,” muttered Saphir.
Saphir easily landed
punches and kicks at the shiny dragon, careful not to be blinded. At one point,
she closed her eyes and relied on extra senses when Helian’s scales got too
bright. After accidentally crashing into walls and a tree trunk, she finally
got used to sensing the dragon’s movements.
Saphir sensed some
trouble not too far away after throwing the dragon to the ground by his tail.
“It’s Dad!” she cried. “His ki is fading fast. I have to go help him.”
Sumera flew over to the
group. “Sorry I’m late. Does anyone need Senzu beans?”
Opening her eyes, Saphir
nodded furiously and took several from his hand. “I have to save my Dad. I know
where he is.”
“Go do that,” said
Sumera. “Angelica, Carotta and I will take care of this show-off dragon!”
Saphir nodded in thanks
and flew off toward Orack and MajinBlue.
Helian shined the blue
five star Dragon Ball embedded in his golden-orange tail.
“I
was made from a wish long ago,
A
wish to make the forest and land grow,
Foresight
to the consequences you lack,
Now
fate is here to bite you back!”
Angelica yelled and
punched Helian square in the mouth, knocking out a sharp fang. Helian’s eyes
glowed gold in anger, blinding her and flinging her to the ground with a swipe
of his claw.
“Five
Star Dragon, top class fellow
Observe
my natural armor of gold and yellow
For
you and your planet, death bells are ringing
So
now surrender and…”
“Stop that singing!”
shouted Carotta, powering up to SSJ4. Helian blew a powerful gush of fire that
didn’t even leave a mark on Carotta. She grabbed the dragon in a strong
chokehold, arms around his neck. The dragon struggled to free himself, but to
no avail.
“Now!” she called.
Angelica and Sumera fired
a family Kamehameha, disintegrating the dragon.
“Oh, what a cruel, cruel
world!” he wailed before he met his end.
“We
All Fall Down: Ash, the Two Star Dragon”
The red-haired Saiyan and
the blue-haired Saiyan burst into a fit of coughing as gray smoke blurred the
horizon. The smell of smoke grew stronger and more uncomfortable for their
nostrils. Powering up was the only way to not let the smoke get to them, but
they knew they had to find the dragon, fast. A maniacal cackle followed by an
ever-growing rumbling stopped the Saiyans in their tracks. In one mighty
explosion, the volcano below them that was hard to see, burst open. Gusts of
magma rose to the surface, becoming lava as it flowed down the mountain. Rocks
and debris forced the two men to fall back for several moments. There was no
sign of the dragon so far…save for a pair of glowing orange eyes that appeared
in the blanket of black smoke.
Orack fired several ki
blasts, causing the volcano to break apart further.
“Bro, it’s no use,” said
MajinBlue. “We can hardly see this close. We need to get somewhere safer, find
higher ground.”
Orack grumbled and
followed his ally. “I’m not your ‘bro.’ I’m just working with a half Saiyan
just because I have to.”
MajinBlue stuck out his
tongue at him. “You can be just as bad as Enoki, you know? Except you privilege
Saiyans over Tuffles.”
“Don’t compare me to the
hybrid Tuffle! Do remember that I was once a general in King Vegeta’s army by
on Planet Vegeta, one of the elite warriors who barely escaped with his life.”
MajinBlue crossed his
arms. “And I was created by Towa to avenge the demons by rising to Earth from
Hell itself. If there is anyone you don’t want to mess with…”
“IT IS I, ASH!” bellowed
another creature from nearby. The hidden dragon breathed a thick stream of fire
that the Saiyans narrowly dodged in the air.
“Let’s move!” yelled
MajinBlue.
The two warriors fled
just as another crash created a crater in the ground below them.
MajinBlue gasped as a
dark rock on fire crashed into a circle of huts. Villagers screamed and ran for
their lives, some of them being consumed by the rapid lava. A bearded man
gasped and crumpled to the ground after inhaling smoke.
“It’ll hit the city
next!” claimed Orack.
MajinBlue coughed. “Or us
next.”
Oeack pointed in the air
and MajinBlue followed his gaze. The gray dusty dragon was revealed: smoke
skin, fat belly, orange eyes…
“THIS WORLD WILL BECOME A
DESERT WASTELAND SOON! DIE YOU SELFISH EARTHLINGS!”
“Drama king,” Orack
muttered.
“I, ASH, THE TWO STAR STRONGEST
SHADOW DRAGON THERE IS, BEHOLD MY VOLCANIC POWERS!”
Nearby buildings
collapsed to the ground, crushing innocent bystanders underneath. Telephone
poles exploded in sparks and wires dangled dangerously inches from the ground.
MajinBlue fired a blast,
which had no effect on the monster.
The dragon charged
forward, swung his spiky tail and knocked Orack back with a grunt. MajinBlue
punched the dragon hard in the gut, only to be thrown away into a building.
“IT’S OVER, SAIYANS! YOU
AND YOUR WORLD SHALL BE COOKED ALIVE!”
“Stop screaming, why
don’t ya?!” retorted MajinBlue.
The dragon roared and
knocked the Saiyan away. Orack and MajinBlue closed their eyes and formed a
green energy shield around them, breathing heavily. They powered up just before
a wave of molten lava consumed them.
Saphir flew over the
city, desperately searching for her father’s energy. She could see nothing but
destruction below her and around her. In particular, she saw the black trail of
cooling lava coating the grass and streets. Careful not to get too close,
Saphir hovered lower to investigate. When she glanced at a strange brown boot
on a leg sticking out from the leftover lava, she cried out, rushing forward.
Using her strength, she grabbed hold of the upright leg and lifted up the
half-burned individual. The man’s face, clothes, and hair were covered in soot
and ash. If he had been a human, he would have perished long before. Saphir
carried the individual to a safe spot in the grass. Opening the man’s mouth,
Saphir placed the Senzu bean in.
“Dad?” she asked. “Wake
up. Please. Stay with me.” Tears started to fall down her cheeks. It was the
first time she was truly worried about someone’s potential death. Since the
corrupted Dragon Balls could no longer be used to revive individuals, the group
of OCs had to be more careful in battle than ever before.
She closed her eyes and
lay her hands on his chest, transferring some of her energy to him. The man
mumbled and looked at her.
“What’s…going on…”
The man groaned and
opened his blue eyes. They were not the familiar red ones she was used to.
“You’re not Dad…”
The man stood up and
shook his head, revealing matted red hair. “No, it’s Orack,” he said. “You
saved my life. Our green energy shields managed to protect us from the majority
of the lava attack.”
“’Our?’ Where’s Dad? Is
he with you?” asked Saphir.
Orack nodded closed his
eyes. He sensed a faint pulse of energy from underneath the substance. The top
part of blue hair protruded from the black tar. “I’ll take care of him. Get out
of here before the dragon comes back.”
“But, he’s alive?”
“Yes, but barely. I can
save him with the last of my energy but it will be a bit before we are ready to
fight again. Hurry and find a safe place…”
A stomping of feet could
be heard.
“…or go and defeat the
dramatic dragon.” Orack gently took the second Senzu bean from her hand.
“He’s not the solar
narcissistic dragon I saw earlier?”
Orack shook his head.
“Hurry.”
Saphir nodded in
affirmation and raced ahead. Orack lifted himself up and retrieved MajinBlue’s
unconscious form.
Down below, Retro Ranter
and Sumera were busy helping the villagers and city dwellers to safe spots.
Sumera comforted a crying couple who were devastated over the loss of their
home.
Saphir finally spotted
the dragon through the newly created haze and pollution. She coughed and
called, “Hey, Flame Face! Over here!” called Saphir.
Ash looked over toward
her as he was about to stomp on a fallen man. He conjured balls of fire from
his clawed hands and threw them in her direction. Saphir expertly dodged them
by doing flips in the air. She swept apart the smoke with her hands, just
before a scaly fist impacted her face. She was sent backwards and then knocked
down toward the ground by Ash’s study spiked tail. She crashed to the grass,
dodging another blast of fire in the nick of time. Saphir powered up, her hair
turning golden. Her eyes glowed red and her eyebrows disappeared as she went
Super Saiyan 3.
“What?!” asked Ash in
disbelief. “What’s with the long hair?” He no longer screamed in drama but
spoke in a monotone-like voice.
“Not even my brother can
obtain this form,” she smiled with confidence. She proceeded to give the
volcanic dragon a black eye while avoiding his bite. Saphir eyed the blue two
star Dragon Ball embedded in his chest. She took a deep breath and cupped both
hands together.
“Ka…me…ha…me…Ha!” A jet
of blue light shot from her hands as she stepped forward.
Ash was pushed back along
with the surrounding smoke. “Ha! In your face ash-hole!” she taunted.
The smoke cleared and a
very angry Ash stood in place with his arms in front of his head. Ash stomped
hard on the ground, causing cracks to spread across the ground. Several humans
and two legged humanoids were knocked around as the ground shook.
“That’s impossi…”
Her sentence was cut off
when Ash teleported behind her and struck her neck hard. Saphir gasped and
gagged as spit and blood shot out of her mouth in small splashes.
“You forget one thing,
mortal:” said Ash. “I AM INDESTRUCTABLE!”
Saphir groaned and tried
to stand up from the ground, but a clawed foot leaned hard against her back.
He then spoke in a calmer
voice; “I control not only volcanos and fire, but also earth.”
He ignored
Saphir’s protests and struggled yells. “You may have defeated Reek and Helian, but
I won’t be so easy. Besides, those two were smelly and self-centered idiots,
respectively. In fact…”
Ash coughed up the blue
two star dragon ball and held it between his teeth, bending down slightly so
Saphir could see. He then proceeded to swallow it.
“Gross,” she muttered.
“Thanks to the wish to
bring Sumera, Carotta, and the Namekian Lyra to a safe place away from a
galactic fight, I am here today. They so happened to land right in the water,
breaking their fall. Oh how I hate water, but unlike Reek, I am tolerant of it.
After all, a volcano can only be dormant for so long…”
He pressed his foot
harder into Saphir’s back, causing her to scream in pain.
“Should I bury you alive,
or burn you alive?” asked Ash. “Or maybe you could die by inhaling smoke. Much
less painful that way. Hehehehe.”
Orack and MajinBlue
arrived at the scene just before Saphir was overwhelmed by Ash.
“Let my daughter go!”
yelled MajinBlue, his eyes glowing red.
“Dad!” Saphir called in
happiness. With renewed energy, she blasted the dragon’s foot with a fiery red
attack, freeing herself.
Orack and MajinBlue held
up their hands in the air. Orack held a red sphere of energy while MajinBlue’s
was blue. Both of them were now at Super Saiyan 3. They merged their powers
together, creating a sphere of bright purple. Saphir gave the rest of her
energy to her father.
“BURN AND DIE!” Ash
screeched, sending a blast of fire and lava from his hands at the warriors.
The beams of flame and
the beam of purple clashed in the air. Orack and MajinBlue yelled as they
strained to push their combined power forward. The blue DragonBall glowed as
Ash used the last of his power to send his blasts toward then inch by inch.
Saphir could already sense the two men getting tired.
‘My brother may be
fighting, but right now, I have no other choice,’ she thought.
She let out a demonic
roar that momentarily made Ash and the Saiyans look to see what the noise was.
Her eyes glowed red and her senses sharpened.
‘Jinsen,
bro! I need more power from you, pronto!’ she said in his
mind.
Another distant roar
sounded and a reply came though. ‘Be
there in a minute. Edoes is looking for the next dragon and I don’t want him
going by himself.’
‘For
Prior’s sake he can take care of himself! Besides Retro and Sumera will meet up
with you soon, as will I when the fight’s done. Now come on!’
Jinsen teleported next to
his sister, eyes also glowing red. He stepped back and gaped in shock.
“Dad’s
fighting that fiery dragon with Orack! And he’s getting pushed back!”
Sure enough, the flame
blast was almost in front of their faces.
“Give them some of your
energy,” said Saphir. Her eyes returned to normal and she panted in fatigue.
Jinsen roared and held
out his hands, spreading energy to the two men. The extra boost was just what
they needed. At the same time, Orack and MajinBlue yelled one last time and
sent their purple sphere of energy at Ash.
“NOOOO!” Ash roared
before exploding from the blast.
As the smoke cleared,
Orack and MajinBlue powered down and landed on the ground.
“How many more…dragons…”
panted MajinBlue through breaths.
“Three, I think,” said
Saphir. “Let’s catch our breath and then go help the others.”
Everyone nodded and sat
down for a brief break. And brief it was. They had just caught their breaths
when they felt another dangerous presence not too far from where they were.
“Ocean
Depths: Aqua, the Four Star Dragon”
(Created from a drunk Halusa's wish for beer and a bra of a hot chick.)
(Created from a drunk Halusa's wish for beer and a bra of a hot chick.)
Aqua, a blue dragon, seemed to be part of the
vast ocean, waves lapping across the sand. Edoes sensed his energy and fired ki
blasts at the dragon’s dark blue hide to no effect. Aqua swam gracefully underwater,
dodging more of Edoes’ attacks. With a big splash, water soaked Edoes, blue
hair and all. He concentrated in front of him, but found he could not conjure
an energy blast. In shock, he flew off, before being pulled underwater by
Aqua’s claws. His powers may have been gone for a time, but he still knew how
to defend himself. He landed hard punches against the claw holding him in
place. Air bubbles rushed out of his mouth and to the surface. Despite being
part Saiyan, he knew he couldn’t last long. Aqua lifted Edoes out of the water,
the warrior gasping for breath.
“Let…me go…”
Aqua grinned and scooped up
some water with his other hand. Using his clawed fingers in the air, the dragon
sculpted moving figure of himself and a small stick figure of Edoes.
“So it appears you can’t
talk?” asked Edoes.
The dragon ignored him
and instead created more hovering figures of spiky-haired Saiyans in front of
him, who were blasting small bubbles from their hands. Edoes could briefly make
out some of the faces, including the face of his own figure, which appeared to
be screaming in pain in the small dragon’s watery grip. Then the watery dragon
sculpture moved of its own accord, blasting water at the group of stick figure
warriors. They stopped shooting bubbles and instead were slashed apart with a
swipe of Aquas’s large hand. The rest of the figures collapsed in a splash
afterwards.
“Oh, I get it now,” said Edoes with a gulp.
How could he warn his friends that they were about to be led into a trap, with
him as the bait?
“Double
Trouble! Revenge and Reckon, the Seven Star Dragon”
“Where’s the next
dragon?” asked Saphir, as she and the group flew ahead.
Retro Ranter was still
busy helping the citizens from the sickness of the first dragon.
Sumera was finishing
helping restore the burnt down buildings and treating those who were badly
injured from Ash’s attack.
Angelica had traveled off
with Carrotta after hearing of peculiar strong waves engulfing homes and
drowning innocent people.
Which left Orack,
MajinBlue, Saphir, Jinsen, and…wherever Edoes was.
Jinsen spoke up, “I bet
the two women are helping people out because something, or someone, is causing
all the recent floods!”
Sure enough, a gush of
ocean water was now covering the grass and cooled over lava like unpleasant
syrup. Jinsen noticed one citizen stranded on the roof of his now floating hut,
being taken and flown to safety by Carotta. Vehicles were overturned and parts
of buildings rushed away in the strong currents.
“I bet that’s who the
next dragon is,” said Saphir.
“Are you sure it’s
not…that one…ones?” asked MajinBlue.
“What?” asked Orack.
“Over there,” said
MajinBlue.
The group went silent
and, listening carefully, they could hear what sounded like stomping feet, and
sibling arguments.
They flew closer only to
encounter a large green dragon with a yellow underbelly and two hydra-like
heads. Each head had a sharp black horn on the top like a pair of serpent
unicorns. The two-headed dragon swiped their single tail, shattering glass and
knocking pedestrians off their feet.
“Behold, the power of the
Seven Star Dragon, the most powerful one of all. It is, I Revenge!”
“You keep forgetting me,
you twat,” spat his twin.
Revenge ignored him and
continued his rant. His twin brother sighed in frustration.
“Revenge, will you stop
your pestering talk about taking over the world?”
“Speak for yourself,
Rekon,” said the other head. “You want to eliminate those foolish wish-hungry
mortals like I do!”
“Perhaps the mortals
should not be merely killed, but instead punished and locked up for 200 years
or so.”
“Reckon, you’re always so
boring! Once our mission is over, I’m gonna use the DragonBalls and wish to be separate
from you!”
“Very paradoxical thinking.
You, using the DragonBalls, despite you hating that the mortals have used them
for their selfish wishes.”
“That’s different!”
“How so, exactly?”
“Stop asking me these
ridiculous questions.”
“Then why don’t you start
using your brain over brawn, for once.”
“Strength is everything
and you, smarty-pants should know that.”
“Oh boy,” sighed Saphir. “This
is not gonna be pleasant.”
“MajinBlue, Saphir, and
Jinsen, you guys take care of that two headed jerk,” said Orack. “I’m going to
scout for the other dragon in the ocean.”
“Are you serious?” asked
MajinBlue. “You can’t just go fighting a dragon by yourself.”
“I wasn’t saying that I
would fight him myself,” Orack replied. “Sumera, Retro Ranter, and the girls
put up intense fights and are now doing their part to help the earthlings. But
haven’t you noticed a couple of people missing?”
Jinsen and Saphir shook
their heads, but MajinBlue placed his hand and finger to his chin in thought. “Enoki
and Broccolia just flew off in different directions for some reason. I don’t
know if they found the last couple of dragons, but they need to help us and
step up their game!”
“I agree,” said Orack. “I’ll
go search for them. I didn’t earlier because, well, here there were dragons to
fight.” He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “I can’t sense any ki from
the Ocean dragon very well. But, I can sense Enoki and Broccolia…it looks like
they are casually helping out some Earthlings toward the west.”
“Where’s Sumera, and the
others?” asked Jinsen.
“It looks like…Sumera,
Angelica, and Carrotta are heading back to get Angelica's daughter from their home. I think
they are planning on leaving to try and defeat the remainder of the Frieza
Force.”
“W-what?” stuttered Saphir
in shock. “So now you can read minds or something?”
“Not minds, but feelings,
sometimes,” said Orack. “I think it’s a special Greek thing.”
“Everything is Greek to
you,” muttered MajinBlue.
“Ocean
Depths: Aqua, the Four Star Dragon”
Treating wounded
Earthlings alongside a Tuffle fixing electricity ruined by the attacks was not
something Broccolia had ever expected to be doing.
In fact, the day itself
had started off bizarre for her, despite having encountered many enemies in the
past. For one, the DragonBalls, for the first time, did not work. Having felt
hungry and strangely exhausted, Broccolia had wanted the wish to revive the Earthlings
be made so she could go home, swim, eat, and train until dusk. Despite how much
she told herself otherwise, Broccolia’s bonding between the Saiyans and the
hybrid humans had grown stronger, the more time she spent with them. The group
was (quite literally) the only family she had on this planet. Enoki may have
wanted to bring his wife back, but Broccolia wanted Lyra, her Namekian mother
figure, to be brought back as well. Her death had caused Broccolia to unlock an
incredible power that she not experienced before: Super Saiyan 4. It was a Saiyan
transformation of pure grief and utter rage, slowly condensed into a more
serious form of herself. How she managed to calm herself during her Great Ape
transformation, she didn’t know. The only person she had seen in front of her,
bravely standing his ground, was Sumera. It was also during that moment, many years
ago, that she had sensed her energy to be even more powerful than MajinBlue’s
Halusa’s and the others, (perhaps equal to Saiyan Enigma’s himself). Of course,
the moment was short-lived, and after defeating Glacin and his men, Broccolia
promptly collapsed from exhaustion.
That was many years in
the past. Frustrated at not being taken seriously as a leader, Broccolia
decided to let everyone else fight off the dragons…she knew there was a
powerful leader dragon hiding somewhere that she could fight herself. Enoki
Halusa had flown in the opposite direction and searched the area for dragons
and surviving humans.
“Shapeshifting
Shenanigans! Olen, the Six Star Dragon”
“Dragons
Unite! Spite, the One Star Dragon (Final Boss)”
“Alpha
Sprite: Super Powered Form.”
“Until
We Meet Again”
Thanks to Broccolia and
several Saiyan fusions, all the Shadow Dragons were eventually defeated.
Reek was blasted to bits…and
got the bathing of his life by Sumera.
Helian, the solar
self-centered dragon got grounded by Angelica, Saphir, and Majinblue.
After a long hard battle
with the crude volcanic Ash, Orack and Majinblue blasted him to, well, ash,
thanks to Jinsen and Daphir lending their energy.
Aqua, the flood-causing
dragon, got sucked dry into the air, thanks to Edoes (who eventually was
rescued) and Enoki.
Reckon and Revenge ended
up destroying themselves, after Carrotta, Sumera, and Orack tricked them into
using up all their energy. After they got tied up due to their long slender
necks, the Saiyans made sure to put an end to their squabbling.
Olen, the green elderly
shape-shifter dragon had mastered all the Saiyan’s moves and could imitate
their attacks. Thankfully, Enoki and Edoes fused into Enodoki. MajinBlue and
Jinsen merged into JinsenBlue, while Sumera and Retro Ranter merged into
Retromera. The fusions were evenly matched until Saiyan Enigma came out of
nowhere to help them.
And finally…Sprite, the
serpent one star dragon…able to read minds and instill fear into the greatest
of warriors. Broccolia and this dragon fought each other the most. But Sprite
soon transformed into Alpha Sprite after gaining the powers of the other
dragons!
With Broccolia close to
death, all the musician OCs gave it their all in the battle to save the world.
In a wheeze and a brief
eye roll, Broccolia collapsed after the Alpha Sprite dragon drew her last
gasping breath of rage. She was not the only one; for Enoki, Sumera, Orack,
Retro, MajinBlue and the others were either wounded or unconscious. The
destruction that the battles had wrought upon the city was evident: the streets
had wide cracks split down the center, while smoking craters replaced formerly
standing trees. Building after building stood crooked or completely in rubble
on the ground. Hominoid animals and human firefighters rushed to the scene,
spraying water on the flames coming from broken windows. Several Earthlings
were rushed to the hospital, while the majority of them stood together in their
rooms, fearfully peeking outside.
The human turned android
Dysphobia leaned against the wall to catch her breath after fighting a bunch of
boar-like robbers and gangsters. Her light blue hair swayed slowly in the
breeze. She closed her eyes and could feel the faint spark of her husband’s ki.
Following the trail, she hurried over to where Enigma lay unconscious not too
far from the other fighters. She placed her pale hand on his forehead and
poured some of her healing energy into him. He eventually stirred and his
fingers twitched. He slowly opened his eyes and groaned. At one moment, his
eyes glowed their signature teal green color with no pupils before turning back
to normal.
“Dsy…phobia…” He slowly
sat up, his black battle clothing in tatters.
She carefully embraced
the muscular Saiyan. For the first time in a while, fresh tears spilled from
his black eyes. After sharing a comforting kiss, they gave each other more
space. Dysphobia helped Enigma stand.
“I can’t believe it,” he
said. “I’ve fought aliens, Frieza’s generals and country music rivals, but I’d
never imagine fighting dragons like some kind of knight.”
“My black knight in
shining armor,” said Dsyphobia with a grin.
She looked at him again.
“You did the right thing, you know.”
“Huh?”
“You know, you deciding
to protect your rivals along with fighting the dragons?”
Enigma nodded. “Oh, yeah.
I could’ve defeated Olen and Spite on my own…had I mastered Super Saiyan Blue.”
Dsyphobia sighed. “You
don’t have to master it, you know. You have SSJBlack, a unique power of your
own. Also, without Enoki, Broccolia, and the others, you’d eventually be
toast.”
“Speaking of which, all
that fighting has me starving.”
“I’ll make you your
favorite egg salad when we get home.”
Enigma gave a small smile
as Dsyphobia helped him walk back to their home.
“You know…” he said. “I
still have yet to beat you in Effect Mass.”
“You mean Mass Effect?”
she asked.
“Yep.”
“There’s something else,
I need to tell you.”
“What?”
“Let’s just say…remember
us watching the classic Star Wars Japanese version?”
Enigma nodded.
“For your next villainous
line, you could say to a new familiar person, ‘I am your father.’
Enigma sighed. “C’mon. I
make appear dark and gothic, but I’m not evil and…wait. Me saying that. You
don’t mean…”
“Yes, Saiyan Enigma TNG.
I’m pregnant.”
The man let out a roaring
scream with a mixture of excitement and shock. Fiery green energy gushed from
his mouth up into the air when he stared wide-eyed at the sky.
“Drama king,” she
muttered.
“Wow…I can’t believe
this! I…I…”
Dsyphobia hugged him.
“Say no more. I know we will be great parents.”
Enigma gently pushed her
back. “I need to come up with some Saiyan names…no, how about I use my own
names. Vaden. Kyashi. Gabriel. No, perhaps Salada?”
“You can’t use that one!
That was the name of your former home planet,” she chided.
“Well, until I think of
one, I’m going to rest and go back to FL Studio. I have a new album to make.”
“You and your amazing
music.”
“You and your amazing Let’s
Play videos and video game reviews. I’m choosing their name.”
“No you’re not.”
“Yes, I am.”
They continued playfully
arguing as they disappeared in the distance.
After the final boss was
defeated, the dragon Balls were never to be used again it seemed…until a
fateful deal was made.
Sharann, the wish
granting OC dragon appeared without being summoned. It would take another 100
years for the dragon to regain strength after being suppressed by the evil
beings. But at the same time…who would be there to help save the world when
more villains would come and try to destroy Earth?
Sharann hoped that one
day, the people of Earth would no longer need the Dragon Balls. But with no
DragonBalls left…how could more be created?
Lyra, the female Namekian
had a proposal…a risky one.
In order to create new
Dragon Balls, the souls of seven heroes would need to be condensed into the new
orbs to give them their power. Only then, could they be used again. Lyra worked
endlessly, ensuring that the power of the DragonBalls could only be used to
restore the environment and bring people back to life. The orbs would be well
hidden…and only the Namekians would know where they were.
Alas, our brave heroes
knew that their lives could not last forever. Even Saiyans and Tuffles, who
could live far longer than humans, would eventually fade away. Feeling regret
over all the destruction and death they caused in their lives, the OC heroes
decided to give their lives for the greater good. Edoes, Jinsen, Angelica, Enigma’s
child, Broccolia’s child, and the other older kids begged them not to do it.
But things don’t always work in ways we expect. After all, generations would
need to continue forward. Let’s just say, their wives were not pleased.
Broccolia merged into the
new One Star Dragon Ball.
Enoki merged into the
second one.
MajinBlue sighed and his
blue aura activated the third.
Orack’s spirit entered
into the fourth one, while his body disappeared.
Retro Ranter entered into
the fifth.
Sumera merged into
the sixth.
And finally…Enigma moved
into the 7th…after his music and advice were passed down to a worthy
successor.
