January 1st 2022 - Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to Che'z Enrique Collins: The Enigma TNG himself! (age 32). The first of the year is a time of hope and new beginnings. Like Enigma who put a fresh spin on various music genres, today is a day to embrace the new and venture out into the great unknown. The past is remembered, but we also look toward the future.
Che'z posted more than 300 diverse dark electronic tracks on YouTube from 2011 to 2020/start of 2021...he has not been heard from since. He is also known for his original Saiyan Enigma DBZ inspired tracks in 2015 and collab with DBZ producer Scott Morgan. Putting his soul and intense emotions into everything he makes, his music not only has an immersive sci-fi feel to it, but also sends a prominent message about religious extremism, racial and class inequality. His music is its own genre, as his fans from around the world can attest to. (I've been a fan since 2014). Enigma loves cats, music, gaming and changing the world (Fame need not apply). Anti-social and punk at first glance, he has a heart of gold and is kind to the trustworthy people he knows.
Today we honor and celebrate a loving lost legend of magnificent masterpiece melodies (songs and art he's done, too!). So far, no one knows where he currently is or whether he's still alive or not. No one knows if he'll ever return to make more music, but his legacy lives on to this day. His mysteries of music have become reality.
Today, let us pray for Enigma's safety, health, and wellbeing, no matter where he may be. If he's alive, hopefully he's with friends, and loved ones and will return to YouTube when he's ready. But if by chance he's not, his savior Jesus Christ will make sure he feels safe and whole. No matter the case, it's up to us to make sure this underrated musician's legacy inspires The Next Generations of humanity.
