In this case, the houses go in the opposite direction of the signs, so the traditional 12th house becomes the first and the first becomes the twelfth.

Personality traits, transits, and life events of an individual may be revealed astrologically in different ways through the Tropical and Vedic Sidereal birth charts. However, there is a possibility that a 13 sign zodiac which includes Ophiuchus and orients the houses in a clockwise order, may be more accurate for many individual readers. This would be due to a reflection of the actual constellations as they appear in the sky along with the clockwise system which represents the sun’s diurnal movement as it appears to us on Earth. Furthermore, comparing all three charts would present a complex and perhaps more complete picture of an individual when similar major life themes are analyzed in all three (aspect patterns, similar sign elements, relationships between houses etc.)
