Bide
the Wiccan Rede ye must
In
perfect love and perfect trust
This
version aims not to offend
But
a creation for fun, with free time to spend
Live
ye must and let to live
Fairly
take and fairly give
True
in love, ever be
Least
thy love be false to thee
With
a fool, no season spend
Nor
be counted as their friend
Soft
of eye and light of touch
Speak
ye little, listen much
Ever
mind the rule of three
What
ye send out comes back to thee
This
lesson well, thou must learn
Ye
only get what ye do earn
These
eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfil
‘An
ye harm none, do what thou will
Unless
self-defense or bigotry arises
Life
can contain unpleasant surprises
Straight,
Trans, Pan, or Gay
Accept
expressions of thou peers each day
Deities,
loved ones, and the universal force
Call
unto them when thou life’s off course
Cast
the circle thrice about
To
keep the evil spirits out
To
bind the spell well every time
Let
the spell be spoke in rhyme
Technology
be a useful tool
Use
it wisely, least ye be a fool
Males
and Females be genders, two
Yet,
do not forget, there art alternatives too
Aggressive
and passive stereotypes remain
Adhering
to them long will only cause pain
Practice
Magick solo, or practice with others
But
honor thy Wiccan sisters and brothers
The
Horned God and the Goddess reside in all things
From
the rushing river to the bird who sings
The
Horned One and the Goddess at summer meet
Be
joyful of love and all that is sweet
Yet
remember that death and winter follows
Our
temporary lives that Death soon swallows
Goddess’s
aspects be Maiden, Mother, Crone
Connect
with thyself and ye won’t be alone
Incorporate
thou Gods from dominant traditions too
But
judge others constantly, shame be upon you
What
is ever-changing, be the seasons
Celebrate
them for all thou right reasons
Change
be evident in the Wheel of the Year
Embrace
the unknown and you’ll have no fear
Respect
other cultures and their Gods
What
ye learn from them can defy all odds
Honor
nature with all thy heart
And
with the Divine, thou won’t be apart
Follow
this with mind and heart
Merry
meet and merry part
Blessed
Be to Thee
