What if...

What if all species, plants, and creatures have karma, spirit guides and life reviews, except for humans it's more intense and complex? :0

What if life is both a school and a game?

And what if soul evolution is not linear, meaning you could be any species, gender, race etc.?

I'm still very conflicted between the two spiritual perspectives: "Life is a school you must graduate from" vs "Life is a game of experience." (Never mind the soul trap theory.) On the one hand, we all have karma and life reviews...we feel guilty of our wrongdoings and want to correct them. But at the same time, the thought that we are in a soul hierarchy competition to merge into God doesn't comfort me. Many spiritual perspectives say we evolve from plants to animals to humans and we must amend all our karma from previous lives we don't know about to break free of the cycle. Is the cycle natural or is it man-made like the concept of original sin? In other words, is reincarnation a choice/game or a requirement/punishment we must escape from? In books by past life regressionist Lee Mitchell, she says that souls choose traumatic situations/suffering to grow and that past lives affect our current life. (Makes me incredibly sacred to reincarnate out of fear of becoming evil and experiencing endless suffering and humanity being judged by spiritual guides for not evolving fast enough). But at the same time, she said that some of us had been aliens and fairies in previous lives, not going in the "linear order" of species evolution. (I like the idea of enlightened animals/other species since God loves everything and being another species is just another experience for the soul, not human "superiority." An enlightened animal example is spiritual master Rachel Fiori who talks about the lessons she learned from her dog, Mason). It makes me wonder whether we have to be all species, races, and genders in the universe to truly escape the cycle. And if the afterlife is supposedly a place of infinite love and peace, why do so many souls get stuck in hellish loops or become evil earthbound entities? And then this leads to the ultimate question: Do we control our lives (freewill) or does the universe/God/our Higher Selves control us (non-freewill?)
